List of Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the social service field and/or combination of education and related experience
- A minimum of 5 years recent experience including at least one-year supervisory experience in the non- profit housing or a related social service field; Experience working in supportive housing would be an asset
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with populations impacted by homelessness, substance use disorder, mental health issues and/or other barriers to stable housing
- Demonstrated knowledge of the impacts of substance use disorder, mental health, homelessness and poverty
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals who have multiple barriers to stable housing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and be part of an integrated community team
- Ability to function effectively in difficult and/or crisis situations
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
- Knowledge of local community resources
- Knowledge of Trauma-informed practice and person-centered care
- Knowledge of harm reduction and ‘Housing First’ theory and practice
- Demonstrated conflict management/crisis prevention skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with participants, staff and community professionals
- Proficient in Google suite programs (Docs and Sheets) and MS 365 programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Commitment to problem-solving, strength-based approach
- Current First Aid and CPR (OFA level 1)
- Naloxone Training and FOODSAFE Level 1 would be an asset

- We are looking for afull-timeProgram Managerto work at our Supportive Housing building.
- In this role, you will provide supervision and direct support to a dedicated team of support workers, assist the Housing Services Manager with all program and building administration and coordinate all property management needs, including safety and unit inspections and maintenance.
