Evermore Gather Grow Lead Inc. is looking for a Program Manager to join our team in Winnipeg’s West Central community!

This role offers the opportunity to lead dynamic, child-focused programs that foster belonging, creativity, and growth, while helping children and youth develop their own leadership skills. If you thrive on inspiring, guiding, and empowering kids to become future leaders—we want to hear from you.

Role and Details
  • Evermore Gather Grow Lead Inc. – Full-Time, Permanent
  • Hours: 35 hrs/week; occasional evenings & weekends for events and programming
  • Annual Salary: Starts at $35,000
  • Benefits: Full employer-covered benefits package

Each year, we support hundreds of children and youth in Winnipeg’s West Central neighborhood through after-school programs, summer activities, leadership training, and family events.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a community-minded leader who loves connecting with children, guiding them through meaningful activities, and creating programs that help them develop confidence, skills, and leadership potential.

As Program Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead after-school and summer programs for children ages 6–12 and youth up to 17.
  • Inspire and guide children and youth to develop leadership skills through hands-on activities and programs.
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations.
  • Oversee program planning, delivery, evaluation, and budgets.
  • Foster safe, fun, and inclusive environments where children feel valued, supported, and empowered.
  • Share program successes and community stories through social media.

This role blends leadership with hands-on involvement—you’ll be just as comfortable creating programs and engaging directly with children and youth as you are coordinating logistics and strategy.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in children’s programming, nonprofit, or recreation leadership.
  • Post-secondary education in recreation, child development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong leadership and guidance skills for working directly with children and youth.
  • Knowledge of child development, conflict resolution, and cross-cultural work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms (Canva experience an asset).
  • Valid First Aid/CPR, Manitoba Driver’s License, and daily access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
