Department Overview

  • Join a dynamic team of over 200 technologists and 50+ business / product professionals in a start-up / greenfield culture. Working on the innovative Clear Product Platform within the US Cash Management business.
  • The team fosters a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions in transactional banking.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Program Structure : Define and structure the overall program approach, including value-stream organization, ensuring program-wide visibility and comprehensive reporting.
  • Community Building : Act as the primary SAFe / Agile advocate for Clear, engaging with groups to promote SAFe / Agile principles and drive up-skilling through working groups.
  • Impediment Removal : Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve impediments that hinder progress.

Metrics and Reporting

  • Enhance and review SAFe / Agile team metrics (e.g., velocity, cumulative flow diagrams, burndown charts) to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and expand JIRA Structures for automated, real-time program-level reporting.
  • Develop standardized reporting approaches for use across Clear.

JIRA / Confluence Ownership and Administration

  • Manage JIRA and Confluence, including structure, layout, and access control.
  • Design and update JIRA issue forms, workflows, and ensure value-stream needs are met while enabling program-wide reporting.
  • Lead the migration from enterprise JIRA to JIRA IN A BOX.

SAFe / Agile Coaching

  • Implement SAFe or similar methodologies to govern the program and align product, development, and leadership teams.
  • Provide coaching to Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters, Product Owners / Managers, and development teams on SAFe / Agile principles.
  • Support preparation of PI end demo materials.
  • Leverage strong influencing skills to guide cross-functional tech and non-tech teams without direct reports.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to set and manage tasks for yourself and the team.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

Experience :

  • 2+ years as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master on broad-based projects.
  • 1-2 years working with SAFe / Scrum methodology.
  • 1-2 years of deep technical JIRA experience, particularly with JIRA Structures and JIRA Advanced Roadmaps.
  • 2+ years managing and implementing large-scale, high-visibility projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven Success : Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, high-visibility projects.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience with financial services.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Mural / collaborative suites, O365, cloud services, transactional banking, accounting and ledgers, payment systems, or startup environments.

Essential Software / Technology Knowledge

  • JIRA / Confluence : Administer and optimize for program reporting and workflows.
  • SAFe / Agile Tools : Utilize for metrics, coaching, and program governance.
  • Mural / O365 : Support collaboration and documentation.

Language Requirements

  • English (written and verbal proficiency required).

Soft Skills

  • Strong influencing and communication skills to align tech and non-tech teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.

Interview Process

  • Format : WebEx
  • Rounds : 2 rounds (second round may include a panel, TBD)
  • Scheduling : To be coordinated with the hiring team
  • Flexibility : Accommodations available for pre-scheduled time off during the contract.
