Job summary

The Senior Program Manager at TEEMA Group will lead and support EHR modernization initiatives, overseeing activities, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure on-time deployment.

You'll coordinate with internal stakeholders for reporting, budgeting, governance, and relationships with Canada Health Infoway and product owners, while aligning with privacy, legal, and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years’ experience managing digital health projects, ideally with electronic health records deployments.
• Experience with project management concepts: goals, risk, scope, planning, quality and change management.
• Excellent leadership, team building and communication, with experience presenting to C-suite.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor relations skills.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects.
• Experience with privacy and security requirements in software development in healthcare.

What you will be doing

The Senior Program Manager will lead and support various EHR Modernization initiatives, including management of activities, issues, risks and service change requests to ensure successful and on-time deployment.

• Work with internal stakeholders to report project progress and for budgeting oversight, tracking and reporting
• Define, implement and operate the program governance
• Establish/Manage relationships with Agency’s product owners
• Establish/Manage relationships with Canada Health Infoway
• Engage with Legal, Privacy and Security authorities to evaluate program responsibilities

What you must have

• 7 to 10 years’ experience project managing digital health projects, ideally with experience deploying clinical software systems, including health information systems, electronic medical records, eReferral solutions and patient portals.
• Experience with and knowledge of Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, quality management, risk management and change management)
• Excellent Leadership, Team Building, and Communication skills, including experience with presenting to C-suite and Executive Leadership Groups across the health sector
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor relations, planning and resource management skills
• Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
• Collaboration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everybody works together effectively, this also involves conflict resolution
• Demonstrated experience leading and overseeing program strategy development from inception through to project close-out
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationship and build agreement with high-level internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience understanding and articulating executive expectations and translating into program deliverables
• Experience developing budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross-organization dependencies
• Demonstrated experience with privacy and security requirements of software development and integrations in a healthcare or clinical context.

What you must have

• Experience working with healthcare professionals in the field
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records systems
• Experience with the provincial Electronic Health Record and its assets like OLIS, DHDR, & acCDR
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and associated business processes
• Experience managing programs with complex governance structures, funding streams and many stakeholders
• Demonstrated excellent time management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
• 7 to 10 years’ experience program/project managing electronic health-related projects and the complex relationships

Salary/Rate: $125.00/ hour
