The Inspire Centre Child & Youth Development

is accepting applications for

Within a family-centered approach to working with families, the Inspire Centre provides rehabilitation and related support services for children and youth living in the Districts of Cochrane and Temiskaming and in the James Bay area.

Duties:

The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of speech-language therapy services to children, youth, and their families in accordance with standards, guidelines, policies, procedures, measures, strategic plan, and mission set out by the Centre.

The Program Manager is a member of the management team, supervising clinical staff, participating in service delivery planning, strategic planning, problem solving, and budgeting initiatives as appropriate. He or she functions in accordance with the policies, philosophies, mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology - essential
  • Be a Member in good standing of a College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario - or eligible to become a member - essential
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision in accordance with professional regulations - essential
  • Experience in management with 3+ years of oversight of clinical services, clinical team, and/or program development - asset
  • Advanced proficiency in English and French (written and verbal) - essential
  • Experience in pediatric rehabilitation and working with families - asset
  • Clear vulnerable persons screening check - essential
