YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Delivery, the Program Manager is accountable for delivering a program of related projects, ensuring they are completed within the agreed timelines, scope, cost, and quality criteria, and align with overall organizational goals. This role requires strategic planning, leadership, and a deep understanding of project management best practices to drive successful project outcomes and achieve strategic goals. The Program Manager will work closely with and lead a group of project managers, cross-functional team members, and both internal & external stakeholders.

The Program Manager must be adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders and capable of managing both greenfield and complex brownfield projects requiring alignment with the Operations group.

The Program Manager will have relevant experience in identifying project execution best practices, understanding the project organizational structure needed to support this from an Owner's perspective, and be able to build and lead this team accordingly.

The Program Manager will be responsible for projects that expand the capacity of the Bethune Mine Site, playing a critical role in the organization's future growth.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a heavy industrial setting, with potash experience preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management on large, multi-year projects.
• Bachelor’s degree, or 10 years’ project/trade/operations experience.
• Previous experience managing a program of related projects greater than $100M.
• Strong project management skills, including facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated experience with various project execution models and construction strategies.
• Knowledge of modern project execution risks and challenges, with an ability to collaboratively define solutions.
• Experience applying technology tools to increase project management efficiency.
• PMP designation is an asset.
• Strong understanding of PMI principles and familiarity with FEL stage gate methodologies.
• Adept at leading organizational transformations through change management.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with experience aligning project business cases with organizational strategy.
• Proficiency in fostering collaboration, aligning teams, and driving projects to completion.
• Leadership skills, including influencing stakeholders and mentoring teams.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and accept responsibility for outcomes.
