Job summary

Tiercon in Ontario is seeking a Program Manager to lead exterior component programs from concept through launch and production. Based on-site in Stoney Creek, you will align engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers to hit scope, cost, timing, and quality targets.

You will manage timelines, budgets, status reviews, and risk mitigation, while driving continuous improvement and effective cross-functional communication to ensure customer satisfaction and operational

Qualifications

• Program and project management expertise with scheduling and risk management.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, incl. molding, painting, assembly.
• Technical aptitude with CAD/product development lifecycle exposure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive improvement.
• Effective cross-functional communication with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project planning software.
• Post-secondary education in engineering, manufacturing or business; equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple programs in fast-paced environments with deadlines.
• Lean manufacturing and automotive quality knowledge (IATF 16949) is a plus.

Role Description

The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Stoney Creek, ON, responsible for overseeing automotive exterior component programs from inception through launch and ongoing production. This role coordinates cross-functional activities among engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers to ensure programs meet scope, cost, timing, and quality targets. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, monitoring budgets, preparing status reports, and facilitating program reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Program Manager leads risk identification and mitigation, supports change management, and ensures compliance with customer and industry requirements. This role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, fosters effective communication, and supports Tiercon’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Program and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or related industries, with understanding of injection molding, painting, assembly, and quality processes.
• Technical aptitude with exposure to engineering concepts, CAD documentation, and product development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build productive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in common business and project management software (e.g., MS Office, project planning tools).
• Post-secondary education in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced environment and meeting strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949) is an asset.
