PROGRAM MANAGEMENT ANALYST 2

The Role

You will support the delivery of industry-leading solutions and software projects for AMD products and our target markets. As a key representative of the User Experience Group's engineering team, you will play a critical part in driving alignment with stakeholders, and pushing for process improvement, while increasing communication and collaboration with engineering and business teams.

The Person

You are a strong communicator who can understand both high-level strategies and detailed tactical matters. Results-oriented, you are resourceful and can work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. You demonstrate a strong knowledge of and execution of program management, a track record of supporting delivery of projects in the hi-tech industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong program management of cross-functional teams, influencing and ensuring assigned tasks are completed, and forging positive relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Deliver results in an effective and timely manner, while continuously improving process
  • Coordinate with software teams and assist resource managers with resource tracking
  • Communication with external teams and executives on program progress, KPIs, blocking issues, and asks
Required Skills
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and program managing software projects
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly
  • Fluent English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience
  • Program management experience in dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within an engineering-based organization
  • Prior experience with tools such as Jira, JAMA, and GitHub
  • Working experience with SDLC methods such as Scrum, Agile, XP, Kanban, or Waterfall
  • Familiarity with the semiconductor, graphics and/or the PC gaming industry
  • Knowledge of Graphics/Machine Learning APIs - DirectX12, Vulkan, DirectML, WinML, etc
  • Exposure to Machine Learning and AI applications and LLMs
Academic Credentials
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience (Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical program preferred)
  • PMP certification a plus, but not required
