Job description

We are currently searching for an innovative nurse leader to join Spectrum as Program Director, Integrated Specialty Programs (Registered Nurse (RN)) . In this role, you will lead the development and management of integrated care programs in collaboration with Spectrum’s Integrated Care Team, health system partners, and operational and service delivery teams, ensuring flawless service delivery.

Job Description

A champion for positive health system change, you will develop and maintain key relationships with health system partners and clinical leaders to contribute to the design of integrated care models. Leveraging a One Team approach, you will lead the planning and implementation of multiple concurrent specialized care models, including defining service delivery requirements across the organization in collaboration with various external partners and patient populations. You will also support the strategy, development, execution, and evaluation of new integrated care models with our health system partners.

  • Provide expert knowledge and professional practice leadership to develop service delivery models for seamless transitions and integrated care
  • Assess and ensure operational readiness and capacity planning to support implementation and delivery of integrated programs
  • Lead development and operationalization of processes, practices, workflows, and resource plans to support new programs and opportunities without impacting existing service delivery and patient care
  • Assess and evaluate different elements of the proposed programs to optimize outcomes for our patients and families / caregivers
  • Develop, lead, coach, and mentor program teams in the service delivery planning and execution of new models of care

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in Nursing with 5-7 years of leadership and management experience in complex healthcare organizations
  • Strong knowledge and experience in healthcare operations, change management, and program development with multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s health system design, funding models, and an understanding of priority issues facing local / regional health systems
