The Position
Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the Project Director, Practice Improvement is tasked with planning and executing comprehensive internal and external programs aimed at boosting revenue and profits. This pivotal role involves devising innovative business development strategies, mentoring staff, and designing training programs to enhance sales opportunities in partnership with various Bromwich+Smith departments. Ability to travel as necessary.
Key Accountabilities:
- Mentor new Insolvency Advisors and design individual and team performance improvement programs.
- Provide insights into performance trends.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales techniques.
- Act as a consultant to salespeople, offering timely and helpful advice on job-related challenges.
- Support onboarding and training of new Insolvency Advisors.
- Guide Insolvency Advisors, Senior Insolvency Advisors, and the business development team throughout their employment journey.
- Identify individual and team training needs.
- Create performance improvement materials, including presentations, sales scripts, and insights into successes and opportunities.
- Gather feedback on all training programs from trainees, managers, and instructors.
- Set agile learning and development objectives for the Financial Solutions team and support Financial Solutions Managers in developing individual skill and knowledge improvement plans.
- Evaluate employees’ performance after each coaching session.
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Research the market to identify new business opportunities that align with company goals.
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with potential lead sources.
- Partner with internal teams to tailor strategies that meet market and client needs.
- Present growth strategies and action plans to senior leadership.
- Track and review business performance regularly, making adjustments to stay on course.
- Keep up with industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
- Drive new business initiatives.
Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- 3 years+ Work experience as a Sales Coach, Sales Trainer, or similar role.
- 3 years’ Work experience as a B2B relationship development manager is required.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience in a sales or customer service position is a plus.
- Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms.
- Hands-on experience creating presentations (e.g., videos or slides).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people.
- Problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation strategies.
