Job Description

Tru Inc. is actively hiring a Program Director to lead and manage strategic programs across our organization. We’re looking for a collaborative, outcomes-driven leader with exceptional project oversight, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills. This is a full-time role with an immediate start available, reporting directly to the VP, Delivery.

Location :

This role is remote, offering the flexibility to work from home. Candidates must reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and be prepared to attend in-person meetings as required. Occasional travel may be necessary for team sessions, partner meetings, or key project milestones.

Position Overview :

Seeking an experienced Program Director to lead high-impact programs, ensuring alignment with company strategy and delivery excellence. You will manage programs spanning internal and external initiatives, providing structure, accountability, and visibility at every phase.

This leadership role requires expertise in program planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement, playing a pivotal role in delivering value to clients and teams.

Requirements

• Architect and launch enterprise-level programs aligned with Tru’s strategic priorities
• Translate business goals into roadmaps, KPIs, and milestones
• Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and ensure team alignment
• Manage budgets, resources, and risks

Execution & Oversight

Oversee all phases of program delivery, ensuring outcomes are met on time and within scope

Drive accountability across teams and vendors

Identify and mitigate roadblocks

Maintain governance and reporting standards

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as primary liaison for stakeholders

Communicate progress, challenges, and successes

Represent programs in leadership forums and reviews

Evaluation & Reporting

Define success metrics and track initiatives

Lead evaluations and continuous improvement

Develop delivery frameworks and templates

Experience & Skills

6+ years in program or project management

Proven success managing complex programs

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Experience with project management tools like Asana, Jira, or similar

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Experience in digital agency, tech, or consulting environments is a plus
