Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Director to join our team to lead large-scale hospitality development projects from conception to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of hotel developments—luxury resorts, boutique hotels, and mixed-use hospitality complexes—on time, within budget, and aligned with our brand and client standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Serve as the Client and Company Representative overseeing all phases of hotel project development, including master planning, architecture, interior design, MEP engineering, and specialist consultants (e.g., spa, F&B, sustainability).
  2. Lead coordination efforts between our in-house design teams and external consultants including internationally renowned hotel architects, interior designers, and hospitality specialists appointed by the client.
  3. Manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, design intent, operational efficiency, and luxury service expectations.
  4. Develop and enforce the Hotel Project Execution Plan, including Health & Safety protocols, QA/QC frameworks, and stakeholder communication strategies.
  5. Ensure all design and construction phases comply with international hospitality standards, brand guidelines (Marriott, Hilton, Accor, etc., where applicable), and local regulations.
  6. Oversee financial and contractual aspects of the project, including scope management, change orders, procurement strategies, and budget tracking.
  7. Conduct regular site reviews, design presentations, and progress updates with developers, brand operators, and local authorities.
  8. Lead cross-functional teams including construction managers, architects, engineers, procurement officers, and hotel operators, to deliver exceptional hospitality assets.
  9. Provide leadership in resolving design, engineering, and operational challenges with a strong focus on guest experience, functionality, and aesthetics.
  10. Support business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying future opportunities in hotel and resort development.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 20 years of experience, including at least 10 years in leading hotel or resort development projects.
  3. Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale hospitality projects from concept to opening.
  4. Familiarity with brand standards and operator coordination.
  5. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering complex developments on time and within budget.
  6. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) and relevant local licensing where applicable.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  1. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  2. Deep understanding of luxury hospitality operations and how design impacts guest experience.
  3. Experience working in the Middle East, Asia, or other emerging hospitality markets is a plus.
  4. Technically astute with up-to-date knowledge of sustainable design, smart technologies, and energy efficiency in hotel environments.
