Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) is one of Canada’s three main institutes for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Our world-renowned researchers drive fundamental and applied research at the University of Alberta and other academic institutions, training some of the world’s top scientific talent. Our cross-functional teams work collaboratively with Alberta-based businesses and organizations to build AI capacity and translate scientific advancement into industry adoption and economic impact.
The Program Coordinator, Training supports the development, deployment, and growth of AI literacy programming in the K-12 education system, post-secondary institutions, and industry. These programs help mitigate resistance and reduce fear around AI systems' responsible development and deployment.
Reporting to the Manager, AI Literacy, the Program Coordinator is a key member of the Training team, actively participating in the execution of Amii’s business functions. This position focuses on driving program development and growth while contributing to the team's overall success in delivering effective AI literacy initiatives.
This is a full-time temporary position with an end date of March 31, 2026.
