Job Description

This role oversees the Registered Massage Therapy program's clinical internship and student clinic. It involves designing, developing, promoting, implementing, and evaluating programs within Langara College Continuing Studies. Key responsibilities include identifying student learning needs, analyzing market trends, recruiting instructors, inputting course data, and building outreach partnerships. The role also manages scheduling, revenue, and adherence to operational procedures. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement: 3 days on-site and 1 day remote.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Program Coordination: Develops, promotes, and evaluates programs and courses, collaborates with stakeholders, creates marketing plans, and responds to market trends. Supports instructors with course design and manages program scheduling and enrollment. Handles promotional activities and evaluates program success.
  2. Staff Management: Recruits, supervises, and develops CS staff and instructors, providing orientation, training, and evaluation.
  3. Communication & Outreach: Acts as the main contact for students, staff, and the public, providing information, advising on educational and career opportunities, and supporting marketing strategies.
  4. Financial Management: Prepares budgets, monitors revenues and expenditures, and sets tuition rates to maximize revenue and control costs.
  5. Market & Community Research: Keeps current with industry trends, conducts community needs assessments, and seeks input from experts and industry leaders.
  6. Representation & Promotion: Represents the college at meetings and events, promotes programs, and recruits community and industry volunteers.
  7. Data & Record Management: Maintains course and program records, compiles reports, and analyzes enrollment and financial data.
  8. Additional Duties: Performs other projects and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Adult Education or relevant discipline; Registered Massage Therapist with 5+ years of practice; 4+ years of program coordination experience; proficiency in computer skills, web publishing, and program development principles; knowledge of adult education principles.

Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; experience in event management; ability to work independently and in teams; tact and discretion in dealings with the public.

Salary Range: $40.75 - $59.77/hour | Pay Grade: Admin Paygrade 08 | Scheduled Weekly Hours: 28 | Hours may vary
