Job Title: Program Coordinator

Salary: $25 - $35 per hour

We specialize in providing a warm, welcoming environment: a safe, reliable, stress-free transportation service and experience.

Currently, a new destinations-based inclusive transportation service will make nature, recreation, arts, culture and heritage more accessible to the community and surrounding area. The Carefree Service will provide a tour experience to specific nature park and heritage destinations. Services will begin their test phase this summer.

The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about advocating for and fostering accessibility and inclusion in your community? Do you have experience in human services, developing programs, administration, or implementing projects? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Program Coordinator to support and lead the Carefree Society's development and coordination of initial start-up and operations for a new unique inclusive destinations-based transportation tour service. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative program, to empower individuals through inclusive transportation solutions and a tour experience, that serves the diverse needs of our community.

Responsibilities:

1. Program development
2. Peer / rider engagement
3. Service scheduling
4. Rider bookings
5. Office administration

Requirements:

1. Education, training and experience in human services, business, or administration
2. Financial management education or experience beneficial
3. Strong communicator, collaborator, lifelong learner
