Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO, www.youthhubs.ca) is a network of 27 Integrated Youth Services (IYS) hubs where young people ages 12 to 25 years have walk-in access to youth-centred, community-based mental health and wellness services.

Position Description
The YWHO Provincial Office at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, permanent Program Consultant (Integration and Implementation Specialist). This position will report to the YWHO Manager Site Implementation and work closely with the Integration and Implementation Leads. The Integration and Implementation Specialist will support deliverables of an Integrated Youth Services (IYS) delivery model within local YWHO networks and provide guidance and coaching to apply a health equity lens to implementation models, content expertise, and evidence-based tools and practices.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Integration and Implementation Team and bring expertise in implementation science, quality improvement, change management, stakeholder engagement, and co-development. A strong background in anti-oppressive and anti-racist practice, knowledge of equity frameworks, and experience supporting equity-focused actions is required.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Applying and integrating evidence-informed approaches to change.
  • Providing expertise and advice related to equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression.
  • Developing and supporting strategies for integrating equity into implementation science.
  • Monitoring and evaluating data to identify gaps and opportunities in service delivery.
  • Engaging and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Developing an understanding of the local youth mental health and substance use system.
  • Facilitating and establishing direction across diverse stakeholders.
  • Assisting teams with implementing practice and/or system change.
  • Assessing needs and coordinating capacity building for project members.
  • Developing project implementation plans based on evidence-informed approaches.
  • Coaching organizational staff using strength-based problem solving.
  • Building and supporting the capacity of organizations/agencies for sustainable change.
  • Supporting the implementation of improvement cycles across organizations.

This position requires the incumbent to be First Nations, Inuit or Métis OR to have extensive experience working with these communities. A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in health, education or social services with three (3) years’ experience in health or social services is required.

  • Experience in implementing evidence-based practices is required.
  • Expertise in health equity and engaging others in dialogue about equity and oppression.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s youth mental health and substance use services.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, community engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within an implementation science framework.
  • Commitment to principles of equity, inclusivity, respect, and social justice.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Other Skills:

  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language are assets.
  • A valid license and access to a vehicle for travel related to program assignments.
