Sign-On Bonus: $1000!

We are currently seeking one full-time Program Aide (35 hours per week) at our Seaview Adult Day Health (ADH) program in Mashpee, MA. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Activity Director and Program Coordinator with daily program operations, goals, and activities.
• Maintain participant records, including program notes and activity logs.
• Observe, report, and document participant status, care, and services provided.
• Contribute to program growth and quality by proposing new ideas.
• Assist with basic nursing care, including:
  • Reporting changes in body functions
  • Recording vital signs
  • Supporting personal hygiene and grooming
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and restorative nursing
  • Responding to emergencies, including Heimlich Maneuver and CPR
• Implement policies and procedures in collaboration with the Program Coordinator.
• Encourage socialization, education, group interaction, and recreation among participants.
• Set up, implement, and break down daily activities, maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist with meal procurement, service, delivery, and cleanup following USDA standards.
• Support participants with ADL needs as necessary.
• Provide services at any of the three Adult Day Health sites as assigned.
• Respond appropriately to agency and supervisor expectations.

Education and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience working with adults or the chronically disabled.
• Ability to work effectively with others and communicate well.
• Must possess a CNA certification or demonstrate competence per DPH regulations.

Must successfully complete a MA State CORI check, CPS check, and a pre-employment physical (paid by the company).
