medSask is the provincial drug information service that provides healthcare professionals and the general public with access to on-demand, accurate, evidence-based drug information. medSask contributes to undergraduate education at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, offers continuing education for healthcare professionals, and collaborates on drug-therapy projects with other health organizations. USask Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) is based out of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. We develop, implement, support, and evaluate continuing education and continuing professional development opportunities for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and healthcare professionals.USask CPE collaborates on continuing education courses with other health organizations and partners nationally. Primary Purpose: To provide comprehensive administrative assistance and ensure the efficient operation of activities. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating communication, documentation, and coordination among various stakeholders involved within the units. Nature of Work: Reporting to the Director, this position is part of a collaborative, cross-functional team dedicated to delivering proactive, high-quality service to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. This role requires a balance of short-, medium-, and long-term planning, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal colleagues and external partners. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, a high standard of professionalism, and a commitment to service excellence. The work is of moderate complexity and highly detail-oriented, requiring the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting demands. A proactive approach is essential, including anticipating needs, problem-solving, and maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines. Given access to sensitive and confidential information, the role requires discretion and sound judgment. The position also plays an important part in supporting the College’s goals through clear, diplomatic communication and adaptable, solutions-focused coordination. Accountabilities: Qualifications: Education: Completion of an undergraduate degree is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience: A minimum of three to five years of administrative experience is required, preferably within a post-secondary or healthcare education environment. Prior experience supporting program teams or senior leaders—particularly within the University of Saskatchewan, the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, or a similar academic or health-related organization—is a strong asset. Familiarity with complex administrative systems and processes is essential, along with demonstrated experience managing confidential information and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Experience working in diverse and inclusive environments is required. Background in program development or continuous improvement initiatives are considered valuable assets. Skills:
