Job summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a Profit Centre Manager to lead all operations at the Profit Centre, responsible for growing the business and sustaining profitability across the organization. You will drive sales, manage budgets, and build strong customer and vendor relationships while representing EMCO with professionalism and integrity at every interaction.

• Achieve sales, gross profit and profit-sharing goals through the recruitment and development of the Profit Centre Team.
• Determine targeted customer account potential and establish sales goals for those accounts.
• Analyze financial reports; develop strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity and manage assets and expenses.
• Build relationships to increase market share and identify new markets.
• Ensure the Profit Centre meets service expectations of customers.
• Take ownership of all marketing plans and purchasing agreements.
• Follow all safety regulations at all locations including job sites.
• Safeguard and maintain all Profit Centre assets.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager.

Job Description

As a Profit Centre Manager, you will develop and lead all business operations at the Profit Centre. The Profit Centre Manager is accountable for growing the business while sustaining consistent profitability.

To experience success in the position, you will:

Additional duties involve:

• Achieve sales, gross profit- and profit-sharing goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching, evaluation, and management of the Profit Centre Team
• Determine targeted customer account potential, establish sales goals for those accounts and hold the sales team accountable for achieving those goals
• Analyze available financial reports and information; develop and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity and manage assets and expenses
• Build relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share and identify new markets
• Ensure the Profit Centre meets or exceeds service expectations of customers
• Take ownership of all marketing plans and purchasing agreements
• Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre
• Safeguard and maintain all Profit Centre assets – buildings, trucks, equipment, inventory, and receivables
• Perform other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager

Qualifications

What we are looking for from you:

• College and/or University degree
• A minimum of 3 years of wholesale distribution experience

Salary Range - $65,000 - $80,000
