What you will do :

Holistic Pricing Management :

  • Lead analysis, file construction, and pricing/product recommendations responding to Strategic Account Managers’ inquiries
  • Organize and upload pricing changes, including customer contract modifications

Pricing Logic :

  • Create new matrices to support profitable growth in targeted vertical markets
  • Collaborate with DoS's to develop pricing stratification reflecting customer size within specific verticals

Profit Maximization :

  • Analyze customer consumption patterns to identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain pricing differentials between named and own brand products to drive OB growth and maximize profit
  • Identify opportunities for Ship & Debit initiatives to enhance profitable sales
  • Work with vendors to improve purchasing strategies, reduce costs, and increase profit
  • Benchmark customer purchasing patterns within verticals to find product growth opportunities
  • Identify products where vendor-funded rebates could enhance sales and profitability

What you will bring :

  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and data analysis
  • Experience with AS400 / Syntax is a major asset
  • Knowledge of pricing tools, systems, and methodologies
  • Experience negotiating with vendors to improve costs
  • Ability to manage competing priorities from account managers and DoS's
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with the plumbing & HVAC industry and vendors is an asset
