Job summary

SecureOps in Montreal is seeking a Professional Services Manager to oversee a global team of engineers and ensure quality delivery of security services. You will coordinate with project managers and sales to allocate resources based on skill and availability, while guiding onboarding, MDM, and governance engagements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, 3+ years in professional services, SOC experience, and strong leadership with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Domains.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GCIH, OSCP, CCSP.
  • Certificate, diploma or university courses in management, communication and administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles (Engineering, Analyst, Consultant).
  • 3+ years of Professional Services experience.
  • 1+ years of SOC experience.
  • 2+ years of requirements gathering and customer interaction.
  • Excellent leadership and employee management skills.
  • Excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Project Management and ITILv4 experience is a bonus.
  • Customer service-oriented; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operational service delivery of all Professional Services mandates.
  • Design, implement, and manage processes aligned with PS objectives and guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent time tracking by Engineers for accurate billing and future quotes.
  • Ensure optimized delegation of tasks and scheduling with Project Managers.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while limiting work according to SOWs and SLAs.
  • Maintain team motivation and engagement, and elicit feedback from team members.
  • Maintain and grow PS Engineers' skills; identify gaps and support partner training.
  • Support sales with channel partner training and certifications.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure accurate reporting of project status and billable hours.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize operations.
  • Participate in organizing content for weekly, monthly and quarterly client governance meetings.
  • Ensure comprehensive handoff to operations for onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and assist in scoping new opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth with existing clients.
  • Travel from time to time to meet key clients.

Role Overview

The Professional Services Manager (PSM) is an operational leader and the primary point of contact for SecureOps clients. The PSM oversees our team of engineers (Montreal, Prague, Manila) to ensure quality delivery of mandated security services. The PSM works closely with Project Managers and sales teams to align the appropriate resources based on skill and availability. The PSM works within various engagement models, including client/service onboarding/implementation, time and materials, and full staff augmentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational service delivery of all Professional Services mandates.
  • Design, implementation, and management of processes in accordance with Professional Services objectives, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent time tracking by Engineers for accurate billing and future sales quotes.
  • Ensure optimized delegation of tasks and scheduling with help from the Project Managers.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while limiting work according to SOW’s and SLA’s.
  • Maintain team motivation and engagement, and elicit feedback from team members to provide the best solutions to clients.
  • Maintain and increase the overall skills and capabilities of Professional Services Engineers. Identify skill gaps and support Sales requirements for Channel Partner training and certifications.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure accurate reporting of project status and billable hours.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize operations.
  • Participate and assist in organizing content for weekly, monthly and quarterly client governance meetings

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure comprehensive & documented handoff to operations, for service onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams (Technical side) and assist in scoping new opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth with existing clients.
  • Travel from time to time to meet key clients.

Qualifying Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Domains
  • Industry Training and Certifications such as: CISSP, CISM, GCIH, OSCP, CCSP…
  • Certificate, diploma or university courses in management, communication and administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles (Engineering, Analyst, Consultant)
  • 3+ years of Professional Services experience
  • 1+ years of experience of SOC experience
