Job summary

Bombardier Dorval is seeking a Professional, Project Engineering - Research & Technology. You will support R&T engineering projects, assist with planning and coordination, and help maintain documentation and dashboards.

This role offers exposure to new aircraft development programs and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1–3 years in aerospace, and demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in aerospace industry; project engineering experience is an asset.
• Autonomous, results-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and audience-tailored communication.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities for Research & Technology engineering projects, including new aircraft development programs, under guidance of experienced project managers and engineers.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and follow-up of engineering activities, deliverables, milestones, and project schedules.
• Help maintain project documentation, action item trackers, meeting minutes, dashboards, and status reports.
• Assist with budget and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members and build relationships with engineering functions, stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.
• Participate in project meetings and ensure clear communication between technical teams, project management, and leadership.
