Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval, QC is seeking a Manager of Engineering for the Research & Technology Program Office. You will lead a team in R&T program management, aligning research strategies with senior leaders, and coordinating with Legal, Supply Chain, HR, and Communications to deliver key initiatives.

The role requires 15+ years in aeronautics engineering and fluent French/English, with a hybrid work policy and a focus on continuous improvement and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 15+ years of aeronautics engineering experience with at least 3 years as a team lead.
• Strong knowledge of R&T management practices.
• Experience with multidisciplinary, technically complex aeronautics projects.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and activities.
• Autonomous, results-driven with strong work ethics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and audience-adaptable messaging.
• Fluent in French and English.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• You have more than 15 years of relevant experience in aeronautics engineering, including 3 as a team leader.
• You have strong knowledge of R&T management practices.
• You have strong experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the aeronautics industry, and strong knowledge of early aircraft development phases
• You can manage multiple concurrent projects and activities
