Responsibilities

  • Coordinate various initiatives that may be continuous improvement projects
  • Plan and conduct multi-disciplinary workshops in order to create a project team, engage stakeholders and ensure accountability for their deliverables
  • Support operations in assisting and resolving manufacturing issues
  • Lead problem solving activities in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Write project mandates and obtain approval from stakeholders and management
  • Act as a change agent with stakeholders to ensure their leadership of the execution portion of the project
  • Prepare and present progress reports at governance meetings with the plant management committee
  • Identify risks and issues upstream based on conditions that may arise during execution
  • Propose and deploy new ideas to maximize the efficiency of operations
  • Propose balancing and optimization scenarios for our assembly lines
  • Understand the impact of projects on the capacity of the plant\'s areas
  • Map and update team processes
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
  • You have a college diploma (DEC) or a bachelor\'s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or other related disciplines
  • You have between 1 and 3 years of experience
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing philosophy and principles and are able to apply, explain, and share them with a work team
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy solving complex problems
  • You demonstrate an ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks
  • You stay up to date with new trends in the field of continuous improvement
  • You have project management and team leadership skills
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
  • You have experience in manufacturing environments
  • You are autonomous and have good practical sense
  • You are interested in change management
  • You are bilingual (French and English)
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Power Platform tools: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps (an asset)
