Your Responsibilities as a Professional Handyman

• Completing maintenance and repair jobs for residential and commercial customers, ranging from two hours to three days.
• Communicating with customers to explain the work needed, scope, and costs.
• Delivering a great customer experience by following the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process designed to impress every customer.

How We’ll Measure Performance

• Quality of Work - We guarantee all our work for one year. It must be done correctly the first time.
• Customer Satisfaction - We track satisfaction through follow-up surveys. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Efficiency - Completing jobs on time and within budget is critical.

To Succeed in this Role, you'll need to

• Self-management skills, as you'll often work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers.
• Your own tools necessary for the jobs.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working with paying customers.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide realistic solutions.
• Insurable to drive our vehicle.
• Willing to complete a background check.
• Ability to work safely following WorkSafe BC guidelines.
• Ability to lift 22 kilograms independently.

As an experienced Handyman, you should have proficiency in :

• Painting
• Tiling
• Flooring
• Appliance installations
• Bathroom and kitchen repairs
• Fence repair / installation
• Deck repair / installation
• Non-licensed plumbing and electrical works

Benefits and Pay

We offer above-average wages based on billable hours. Our technicians typically earn between $50,000 and $75,000 annually, depending on skills, overtime, odd hours, and customer loyalty.
