Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC seeks a professional with expertise in Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) engineering to support change management for Global 7500/8000 projects. The role emphasizes coordination across disciplines, schedule harmonization, and keeping configurations aligned with customer deliverables.

Required are a technical or university degree in Avionics/Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of aerospace experience, plus strong English

• Technical or University degree in Avionic/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of aerospace experience.
• Wiring design, installation or troubleshooting experience.
• Familiar with Capital Siemens software or similar ECAD tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the EWIS Engineering team for Global 7500/8000.
• Harmonize the schedule with groups for customer requests.
• Coordinate changes with EWIS disciplines (wiring diagram, 3D/2D cabinet, manufacturing).
• Maintain configuration with deliverables vs customers.
• Provide technical support for change management (RFC, PCR, RFQ, PO, ECT).
• Investigate, champion and integrate new EWIS software tools.
• Contribute to other tasks as needed and adapt to program needs.
• Optimize the EWIS processes.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a Technical or University degree in Avionic/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• You have 3 years of relevant working experience in Aerospace.
• You have wiring design, wiring installation and/or wiring troubleshooting experience.
• You are familiar with Capital Siemens software or similar ECAD tools.
• You must have excellent communication skills including the ability to read/write in English.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and have good integration/organizational skills and initiative.
• You are innovative and open to new ideas.
• You have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts.
• You are comfortable working with the MS Office suite.
