Job summary

ThoughtStorm Inc. is seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer to support pneumatic system design, integration, testing, and certification activities.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5–8 years of aerospace experience, with strong knowledge of fluid flow, thermodynamics, and pneumatic systems. You will work on system architecture, requirements management, and verification and validation across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant aerospace engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of fluid flow, thermodynamics, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in system architecture, requirements management, functional modelling, and trade studies.
• Knowledge of system integration, interface management, verification, validation, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and ARP4754A standards and processes.
• French and English bilingualism is required.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, test procedures, qualification reports, and certification documentation.
• Ability to support engineering troubleshooting, design modifications, supplier coordination, and cross-functional teams.
