We are seeking a skilled Corrosion Engineer to join our team in Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and mitigating corrosion risks across pipelines, facilities, and infrastructure. You will develop and implement corrosion control strategies, conduct inspections, analyze failure reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards and provincial regulations. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and integrity teams is essential to ensure asset reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform corrosion risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain cathodic protection systems and coating programs.
  • Conduct inspections and analyze corrosion data from field equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical support during maintenance and failure investigations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in corrosion engineering, preferably in oil & gas.
  • Knowledge of NACE standards and Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) requirements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
