Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
• Fill orders, receive freight, deliver, and unload product; perform inventory counts.
• Follow road safety, company and legal transportation regulations.
• Build positive relationships with yard, desk, and leadership teams.
• Carry out customer service and product assembly as assigned.
• Complete required paperwork and assist in-store or warehouse operations as needed.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
• Operate from any Home Centre location within the trading area to support delivery operations.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays; carry out duties safely.

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Load and unload merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
• Fill orders, receive freight, deliver, and unload product, preform inventory counts.
• Follow all road safety, company, and legal transportation regulations.
• Build positive relationships with the yard, desk, and leadership teams.
• Perform customer carry-out service and product assembly as assigned.
• Complete required paperwork base on department standards.
• Assist in-store or warehouse operations when required.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
• Carry a valid Class 1A license.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements including heavy lifting and carrying.
• Flexibility to report to and operate from any Home Centre location within our trading area to support delivery operations.
• Willing and able to obtain forklift certification.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, and holidays.
