Job summary

McDougall Energy is seeking a skilled and safety focused Professional Delivery Driver for the Sault Branch. This seasonal contract role features a 4-on 4-off shift and requires a DZ license with prior driving experience.

You will deliver bulk products, perform vehicle inspections, manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service outdoors in all weather, using a handheld device to monitor fuel flow and disposal.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid DZ license and at least 2 years driving experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and travel as required.
• Safety-minded with ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
• Good numeric ability and attention to documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to client fleets, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Inventory control of bulk products on truck
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and completing related documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions to meet customers’ needs
• Using handheld computer to monitor fuel input and disposal from the truck

About The Opportunity

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety focused individual to fill the position of Professional Delivery Driver at our Sault Branch. This is a Seasonal Contract role and will be a 4-on 4-off shift.

Reporting To The Operations Manager Responsibilities Include

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
• Inventory control of bulk products on truck
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers’ needs
• Using handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed of from the truck

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work a variety of shifts

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
