Job summary

McDougall Energy Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Professional Delivery Driver for the Sudbury Branch on a seasonal contract with a 4-on-4 off shift. You will transport products safely while delivering excellent customer service and upholding high safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a valid DZ license, does well in outdoor environments, and can work independently or as part of a team. Training and PPE are provided; pre-employment drug testing is required.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Numeric ability and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and flexible shifts.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk products safely to client fleets, equipment, generators, or bulk tanks.
• Maintain inventory control on the truck.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Use handheld device to monitor fuel input and disposal.

About The Opportunity

McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety focused individual to fill the position of Professional Delivery Driver at our Sudbury Branch. This is a Seasonal Contract role and will be a 4-on-4 off shift.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and we expect our drivers to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Reporting To The Operations Manager Responsibilities Include

• Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk products to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area


• Inventory control of bulk products on truck


• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation


• Providing exceptional customer service


• Working outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customers’ needs


• Using handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed of from the truck

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ


• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player


• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


• Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills


• Willingness to travel


• Ability to work a variety of shifts

This position is physically demanding, involving significant lifting and pulling in an outdoor climate. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass pre- and random drug & alcohol testing and must have a safety and compliance mindset.
