Position Summary (Basic Job Function) :

This is a temporary or on-call position providing professional support in various functions such as business, science, medical, agricultural, or other areas. The term allows for two nine-month periods with a break, and on-call hours are limited to 1039 hours annually.

Unit Position Summary :

The NMSI Professional Aide will assist the Program Associate Director with daily operations, including data entry, record maintenance, and application processing.

Tasks and Responsibilities include :

  • 40% - Communication : Email and call students, employers, follow up on surveys, and orient students.
  • 40% - Data Processing : Track participation and stipends, maintain files.
  • 15% - Marketing : Manage social media, newsletters, and research.
  • 5% - Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Desired Qualifications include :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 60 college credits
  • One year office experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with migrant / seasonal farmworker community, marketing, confidential info, team environment, strong communication and organizational skills
