Products Development Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician who will report to the Exhaust System Team Leader and contribute to the quality of our manufactured parts. In this role, you will influence multidisciplinary teams in manufacturing and play a key role in developing new parts for the exhaust system and chassis.

Responsibilities

1. Approve engineering drawings related to process capability.
2. Manage corrective action requests (problem resolution).
3. Design validation gauges.
4. Support operations in collaboration with quality inspectors.

Qualifications

• A technical Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in mechanical engineering technology.
• Fluency in French (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of MS Office software.
• Knowledge of quality tools (geometric tolerancing, PFMEA, SPC).
• Knowledge of processes such as sheet metal fabrication, riveting, welding, and painting is an asset.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
