Responsibilities

  • Unload washed fabricated products from the washer.
  • Sort washed products according to specified standards.
  • Operate jib cranes for material relocation.
  • Assist team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Report any damaged or defective products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Receive cross-training to support production demands.
  • Adhere to production schedules and plans.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

A PVB Offloader is responsible for offloading glass at the PVB Operation, loading glass onto the bogie, and performing additional tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unload washed fabricated products from the washer.
  • Sort washed products according to specified requirements.
  • Operate jib cranes effectively to relocate materials within the production facility.
  • Help other operators and team members as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Identify and report any damaged or defective products to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
  • Receive cross-training and support operations in different departments to meet production demands.
  • Adhere to a detailed schedule and production plan to ensure timely completion of tasks and orders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support overall production goals and operational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds of material.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Experience with jib crane operation is an asset.
  • Ability to read blueprints is an asset.
