Job summary

Westeck is seeking a Production Worker II to help manufacture premium windows and doors while upholding high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

You will prepare materials, assemble products, and operate equipment safely in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality and productivity targets are met. The role requires attention to detail and a hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Comfortable using basic measuring tools (ruler, tape measure, calipers, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, while contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials and components for production using work orders and specifications.
  • Assemble windows and doors that meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and production machinery safely and effectively.
  • Measure, inspect, and verify components throughout the production process.
  • Identify and resolve minor production issues while minimizing waste.
  • Rotate between workstations and support multiple production areas as required.
  • Perform quality inspections before products move to the next stage of production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Contribute ideas that improve quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Experience reading production drawings or specifications

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active manufacturing role that requires:

  • Ability to be standing and actively moving for the duration of your shift
  • Frequent walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting throughout your shift
  • The ability to lift up to 75 lbs (34 kg) regularly
  • Regular use of fine motor hand functions
  • Working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
