Job Summary:

The primary function of this role is to place steel, strand, and concrete in beds as necessary for the production of concrete members, and to strip and clean beds for the next pour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety and quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
  • Receive instructions, roll torches, steel, and tool buggies to bed, and unload.
  • Uncover bed, remove forms, clean, and prepare bed for pouring.
  • Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channels, and insulations.
  • Pull strands, thread bulkheads, block outs, frames, and cut strands with grinder.
  • Place and tie rebar, loops, flange wire, and set form and side plates.
  • Prepare for pour by blowing out bed with air hose and receiving pouring tools.
  • Receive concrete, connect air hoses, spread, and vibrate concrete using appropriate tools.
  • Place insulation and C ties, clean rails, sweep excess concrete, and organize tools and materials.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
