Job summary

Armtec Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in Ponoka, Alberta. You will fabricate steel pipe products, operate rolling and corrugating equipment, and support our production operations with careful attention to safety and quality.

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will weld components, use plasma arc and oxy-fuel torches, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following all standard procedures.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing, fabrication, welding, construction, or industrial experience is an asset.
  • Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
  • Ability to safely operate power tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to work with both metric and imperial measurements.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork and safety.
  • Ability to follow instructions while contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
