Job Title: Production Worker - Truss Assembly

We are hiring a Production Worker responsible for assembling wooden roof and floor trusses from pre-engineered drawings. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting 25 to 50 lbs safely. Materials include wood, hammers, saws, and other hand tools. Previous experience in truss building is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate values safety, teamwork, and inclusivity.

Responsibilities
  1. Set up workstations for each order in collaboration with the Team Leader.
  2. Assemble trusses following company procedures and instructions from the Team Leader.
  3. Inspect work quality, materials, and equipment condition regularly and report issues.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
  5. Operate equipment and machinery safely and correctly, as instructed.
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Experience in truss building (preferred).
  • Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure in the foot-inch-sixteenth system.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proactive in seeking improvements.
Shift and Compensation

We are hiring for the evening shift, which includes all 10-hour shifts: 4:30 pm - 1:00 am, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays when overtime is required. The wage is $21-$22 per hour, based on experience, plus shift premiums.
