Liburdi Turbine Services provides mechanical and metallurgical engineering services specifically tailored for the gas turbine industry. This allows us to perform an independent analysis of problems and, where required, to modify or redesign components. Our expertise lies in the fields of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis, metallurgy and mechanical design as they apply to aircraft and land based gas turbines. The company offers firm opportunities for career growth in an attractive but yet challenging technical environment.

We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Production Worker. The role of Production Worker reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages including shift premiums.

We have the following vacancies to fill immediately:

  1. Day shift (3 openings): (Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
  2. 2nd Shift (1 opening): (Monday to Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am) + $1 shift premium
  3. 3rd Shift (2 openings): (Sunday to Friday 11:00pm-7:00am) + $1.50 shift premium

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for taping, grit blasting and cleaning of parts.
  • Support manufacturing by performing a variety of tasks such as using air tools and coating spray support.

Key Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent fine manual dexterity is required

Key Experience/Education:

  • Minimum secondary school education
  • Metal working industry knowledge of welding and grinding is an asset
  • Experience grinding and prepping parts is an asset
  • Experience with air tools is an asset
