Drake International is seeking a Production Line Worker for a night shift at a production facility in Ontario. The role involves operating and monitoring production line machinery, loading packaging materials, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 25 kg, stand for long periods, and work overtime or weekends if needed. Prior packaging/ manufacturing experience is a plus, and teamwork and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting is an asset.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime if required.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and variable temperatures. PPE required.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor production line machinery safely.
• Prepare and load materials for packaging.

Production Line Worker - Production Facility

Job Title:Production Worker

Salary:$23.27 hourly to start.

Shift:Nights 9pm-7:30am

Our client, a well-established production facility serving growers and consumers, is known for maintaining efficient operations and high safety standards. We are seeking a reliable Production Line Worker to join their team.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate, monitor, and tend production line machinery in a safe manner.
• Prepare and load materials for the packaging line (bags, soil, pallets, labels, etc.).
• Inspect products for quality, removing any defective items.
• Move packaged soil to designated areas using hand trucks orpallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist with minor equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting as directed.
• Follow all company safety and quality policies, WHMIS guidelines, and use PPE correctly.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment considered an asset.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Able to regularlylift upto 25 kg (55lbs.)
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
• Exposure to dust, noise, large equipment, and temperature variations (indoor and outdoor). PPE must be worn as required.
• Vehicle to get to and from work - remote location.
