Job description

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Worker will be responsible for operating the production equipment during production.

Key Activities

• Operate machinery & forklift with attention to Health and Safety requirements.

Required Training and Experience

• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in production operations, preferably in a food or beverage setting.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act as it relates to operating equipment and forklift.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.

Skills Sought

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• High degree of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Position Details

• Some physical effort required, including lifting, pushing, pulling on a regular basis, and significant walking, bending, and standing.
• May require extended work hours during the production season.
