Your missions :

The Waste Treatment Operator is responsible for overseeing the waste treatment equipment and occasional bird care duties.

The shift is Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00pm.

Duties Include :

  • Waste Treatment Equipment
  • Oversees the waste treatment equipment
  • Reads meters and gauges to ensure equipment is operating normally
  • Troubleshoots backups and problems that occur
  • Submits tickets to maintenance as needed
  • Contacts on-call maintenance technicians as required for issues beyond troubleshooting capabilities

General Documentation

  • Maintains detailed, accurate, concurrent, complete record keeping

General Miscellaneous

  • Follows all safety procedures
  • Follows standard operation procedures and company policies
  • Assists with general cleaning duties associated with daily operations

Maintenance and Care of Birds and Bird Rooms

  • Feeds and waters all birds and records observations as set out
  • Controls room temperature and humidity
  • Replaces or cleans vent filters
  • Cleans and sanitizes production and animal facilities
  • Records daily temperature of all refrigerated units; reports problems

  • You have a minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED
  • You are mechanically inclined
  • You are an independent worker
  • You have knowledge of documentation and record keeping
  • You are able to operate technical machinery and computerized equipment (e.g., production equipment or waste treatment equipment)
