Price Industries Limited in Winnipeg is seeking a 5-Ton Truck Driver/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic, team-driven production environment. You will drive a 5-Ton flat deck, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and handle loading, unloading, and inventory tasks.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of 5-Tonne truck experience, strong customer service, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work unsupervised and shift work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 5-Tonne Truck or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety and working safely.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to work shift work as required.
• Good attendance and teamwork are essential.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Must have Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties as needed.
• Drive a 5-Ton flat deck on assigned routes with curtain tarp system and automatic transmission.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Manage inventory, pick orders, and pack accurately.
• Ensure cargo is secured during transport.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

The position of a 5-Ton Truck driver/ Forklift Operator offers dynamic challengers in the day-to-day production of our systems components. We are looking for individuals who are team-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing warehouse duties as needed
• Driving a 5-Ton flat deck in a designated route with a curtain tarp system with automatic transmission.
• Loading and unloading cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Performing warehouse duties such as inventory management, order picking, and packing.
• Ensure that all cargo is properly secured during transport.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 5-Tonne Truck, or comparable experience
• Excellence in customer service.
• Commitment to working safely.
• Able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants should be willing and able to perform shift work, as required.
• Good attendance, safety record and being a team player a must.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License. A driver’s abstract review will be conducted as part of the process.
• Must have experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
• Willing to do inhouse training on different types of forklifts for company forklift license

Hourly Rate: $20.77
