About the Role:

We are growing and are seeking experienced Production Technicians in our Windsor, Nova Scotia facility. You will be responsible to operate, monitor, adjust and maintain pharmaceutical processing units and equipment in the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and/or Fermentation products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating manual and automated equipment to perform batch operations.
• Controlling processes from start-up to shut down, including unit operations of equipment systems, recovery, filtration, and purification.
• Training will be provided for handling of the raw materials that we use here at BioVectra.
• Performing process sampling.
• Collaborating with other departments on process and equipment training for successful completion of manufacturing batches.
• Providing feedback to improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for work exercises on the floor.
• Conducting in-process quality inspections as required.
• Reviewing and approving creation and changes to documents supporting Process lifecycle.
• Mentoring and training others with similar job duties as requested.

What You Bring to the Role:

• High attention to detail, a focus on safety and quality.
• A passion for a fast-paced work environment.
• High school diploma required.
• 2 years’ work experience in a related field.

Bonus points if you have:

• Post secondary in an applicable field, such as Biotech or a bachelor’s degree in sciences.
• Industrial experience in pharma.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) experience.
