Job summary

Crestline Coach in Saskatoon is seeking a Machine Operator for the Brake Press to join our production team on the night shift. You will operate the brake press, cut and bend materials, and help ensure high-quality components for our ambulance manufacturing process.

You will read tape measures, adjust settings, perform basic maintenance, and maintain accurate work records in a safety‑minded, ISO-compliant environment.

Qualifications

Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance.
Understand ISO quality requirements and safe work practices.
Carry, push, pull and lift up to 50lbs.
Maintain accurate records of completed work orders.

Responsibilities

Use the brake press to cut and/or bend materials for production.
Set up and adjust machines for efficiency and minimal scrap.
Perform basic maintenance and assist in other fabrication stages.
Sand and deburr pieces as required.
Inspect materials and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
Ensure parts meet specifications and record outcomes.

Night Shift, Monday to Thursday, 5:45 pm to 4:15 am

As a Machine Operator, you will be able to:

Use the appropriate machine (Brake Press) to cut and/or bend various materials used in the production process.
Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize scrap set up and adjust machines and equipment.
Perform basic maintenance.
Assist in other fabrication stages as workflow demands.
Sand and deburr pieces as required.
Maintain accurate records of completed work orders.
Inspect materials and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
Ensure the quality of all parts conform to specifications.
Experience and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance.
Understand quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements.
Conscious of and adhere to safe work practices.
Carry, push, pull and lift up to 50lbs.
Reach forward and overhead at or beyond a full arms length for an extended period of time.
