Tolko is hiring Production Technicians at our Athabasca OSB Division in Slave Lake, Alberta. This entry-level role offers full training and a pay-for-skills program, with a state-of-the-art facility that supports diverse forest products for customers around the world. You’ll work 12-hour shifts and be part of a safety-first, high-performance team and grow with Tolko.

Qualifications

• Commitment to working safely in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in an OSB mill is an asset.
• Experience operating a forklift or loader is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Work independently as part of a high-performance team focused on safety and efficient OSB production.
• Perform a variety of labour duties to increase productivity and reduce safety risks.
• Analyze and troubleshoot in your area and communicate with your team lead and maintenance to get things back on track.
• Rotate 12-hour shift schedules to provide flexibility for time with family.

Tolko is currently sourcing Production Technicians at our Athabasca OSB Division, located in Slave Lake. T his state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative forest products for customers around the world. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a physically demanding industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Previous experience in an OSB mill is an asset.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or loader is an asset.
