Job summary

AtomVie Global Radiopharma Inc. in Ontario is seeking a Production Technician to join our GMP manufacturing team. You will support production areas, sanitize materials, and help manage hazardous waste in a fast-paced, sterile environment.

This role requires willingness to work evenings, nights, or weekends on a rotating or fixed basis, and previous GMP or aseptic experience is preferred. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Biotechnology certificate or relevant diploma required or closely related field.
• Previous experience in GMP or aseptic environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 23 kilograms (50–70 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize materials and components required for production.
• Perform routine cleaning and decontamination of aseptic areas and cleanrooms.
• Package for distribution following TDG, PTNS, and IATA regulations.
• Manage radioactive waste and sharps disposal per safety procedures.
• Perform routine inventory and stock counts.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with production of AtomVie drug products at other facilities as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

AboutTheRole

Reporting to the Production Supervisor as a ProductionTechnician,youwillsupporttheproductionteambymaintainingGMPareas,disposingofhazardouswasteandpackagingdangerousgoods.

WhatYouWillDo

• Prepareandsanitizematerialsandcomponentsrequiredforproduction
• Performroutinecleaninganddecontaminationofasepticareasandcleanroomsuites
• PrepareofpackagefordistributionasperTransportationofDangerousGoods(TDG),PackagingandTransportofNuclearSubstances(PTNS),andInternationalAirTransportAssociation(IATA)regulations.
• Manageradioactivewasteandsharpsdisposalfollowingradiationsafetyprotocolsandprocedures
• Performroutineinventoryandstockcount
• Ensurethatallworkisconductedaccordingtosafetypoliciesandregulations
• AssistwiththeproductionofAtomViedrugproductsatotherfacilitiesasneeded

Radiopharmaceuticals are perishable products that require just-in-time manufacturing to ensure supply demands are met without interruption. This means that flexibility to various shifts is required of this role whether that be evening, night or early morning shifts throughout the week/ weekends. Compensation:

Annual salary starts at $57k, compensation is based on relevant industry experience, academic credentials, and qualifications.
