POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Technician is a laboratory-based job, working as part of the Production Team responsible for producing cannabis derivatives in compliance with federal regulations. You will operate and maintain equipment related to cannabis derivative production.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Proper setup and operation of manufacturing equipment
• Execute all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with MediPharm Labs SOP’s and all applicable manufacturing procedures
• Review labels, containers and packaging items to assure correct items and information is used
• Operate CO2 extraction, milling, decarb and filtration equipment
• Perform various production sanitation activities in conformance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs)
• Contribute to the improvement of current procedures and development of new processes
• Ensure all production is completed according to SOP’s and Batch Production Records
• Work with a variety of cleaning products, solutions and tools
• Follow Good Production Practices (GMP) and maintain equipment by cleaning and sanitizing as per SOPs
• Complete paperwork to comply with company SOPs and ACMPR requirements
• Enter all activities into Batch Records
• Work with the Quality Control team to submit samples for analysis
• Adhere to Health and Safety Standards
• Other duties as required
