WHO WE ARE

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will be cross-trained to perform various tasks, including receiving and sorting laundry, inspecting garments for mending needs, operating equipment such as dryers and ironers, and bundling clean garments for redistribution to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Attendance is essential.
  • Work safely and efficiently in assigned production areas as scheduled.
  • Assist teammates by providing materials, tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work assigned shifts; attendance is required.
  • Basic math reasoning skills.
  • Lifting ability: 25-50 pounds continuously; Push/Pull: up to 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Able to stand, walk, or sit for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures and loud noises, while working safely around machinery.
  • Adherence to safety standards.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in industrial laundry or production preferred.
  • Ability to understand work instructions in English preferred.

Departments and Duties

Key roles include:

  • Soil Operations: Receiving, scanning, and inspecting soiled garments; sorting for washing.
  • Dry Fold: Inspecting and folding/packaging clean products.
  • Garments: Sorting and processing garments per requirements.
  • Mending: Repairing garments manually or with sewing machines.
  • Mat: Rolling and storing mats; fulfilling mat orders.
  • Iron Operations: Inspecting and ironing products.
  • Bundling: Counting and preparing garments for delivery.
  • Wash Aisle: Operating equipment to load/unload and monitor quality.
