Job summary

Durabuilt Windows & Doors is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee the machining and assembly lines. You will plan daily/weekly work, manage staffing, review production data, and coordinate with maintenance and procurement to keep materials flowing.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering background, supervisory experience in manufacturing, and a proven ability to drive cost reductions and quality improvements in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with 30+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee your line and day to day operations.
• Review paperwork from scheduling, plan work for day/week and manpower accordingly.
• Reply to emails and inform scheduling of delays or issues.
• Review and prepare production reports daily.
• Manage inventory, materials, and supplier communication.
• Lead and train production staff for your line.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, HR and HSE as needed.
• Identify improvements to set-up, process and cycle times.
